THE SALES TEAM OF “DAYA AVIATION” AND “DAYA HOLIDAYS” SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETES ANOTHER CSR PROJECT

Once again for the 2nd consecutive year the sales staff of the above two companies offered a delicious breakfast meal to the orphaned children at “Gangodawila Balika Welfare and Vocational Training Centre”in Delkanda, Nugegoda.
This centre accommodates more than 80 little girls from different age groups. Making it special for the little a homemade Multi colored Cup Cake, Cheese Sandwich, Sausage & Chips with a Yoghurt desert and a Fruit Juice. The joyful children thanked the management and the staff of “Daya Aviation” for the wonderful treat.

DAYA AVIATION RECEIVES AWARD FOR ”TOURISM EXCELLENCE”

The Chamber of Tourism and Industry of Sri Lanka recognised and awarded Daya Aviation, the ‘Excellent Service Provider’ to the tourism industry as a domestic aviation service in the Eastern Province. Chamindra Gamage, Group Director stated that Daya Aviation initially began as an aviation firm has now ventured to cater to all travel trade needs. Apart from chartering aircraft or selling air tickets and hotel rooms, the firm now provides a variety of services such as organising overseas training programmes and VVIP diplomatic tours in Sri Lanka. Isuru Wijeratne, Director Marketing also stated that Daya Aviation was probably the only local aviation firm that operated continuously during the last ten years, serving the public even during times of turmoil. Adding further he said, “now with an IATA accredited ticketing firm and separate departments to handle inbound and outbound our next step forward is to provide a 4G travel service, giving a total solution to all travel trade needs.”

DAYA AVIATION LAUNCHES HELICOPTER SERVICE

Daya Aviation, one of the Daya Group’s subsidiaries, has introduced a brand new Airbus Helicopter EC130T2 to Sri Lanka – making it one of the largest helicopters available in the country for commercial services to the country. The new chopper was launched  by the President Maitripala Sirisena at Waters Edge Battaramulla.

The multi-role rotocraft, the EC 130 T2, will provide passengers VIP comfort. The fleet includes a four-seat Beech Craft Baron, 19-seat Jet Stream 32. At present the company flies to 15 destinations in Sri Lanka.
